Texts are organized in a manner that presents the predominant modern ideas in anthropology, the results from research projects, student researchers. The texts deal with anthropology of Roger Bastid and George Batai, the death and vitality of the monuments from the socialist past, consumption during socialism, the myth of Europe, Bulgarian ideas of Europe. Presented are field anthropological studies on Bulgarian Turks, who immigrated to Ismir and on the economic growth and social optimism.
