New
Bulgarian University is a private institution established in 1991 in Sofia
which considers as its mission supporting students in the completion of
their own learning goals, i.e. as providing the best possible conditions
for them to develop as individuals with their own specific interests,
ambitions and career opportunities. Currently, there are more than 3000
students enrolled at NBU. Approximately 500 scholars are faculty members
or researchers at NBU in a wide range of departments, among them Mathematics,
Theoretical Physics, Computer Science, Law, Economics, Psychology, Anthropology,
History, Archeology, Linguistics, Music, and Theater.
