NBU offers Bachelor’s, Master`s and PhD programmes. The University also offers continuing education in the fields of art, languages, politics, management, network technologies, etc. The education can be regular or distant. It is provided by varying faculties and organized according to academic programs which include elective courses. Regular studies are attendance-based and they include lecturing as well as interactive teaching which involves various forms of individual work. Distant learning studies are conducted by means of academic references (textbooks, multimedia, radio-lectures, audio and video materials, web-based teaching), as well as consultations with the lecturers. The university has developed electronic teaching which is offered through its website. Studies at NBU can take either the in-class or extracurricular form. The in-class education form includes monologic and dialogic lectures, team lecture, in-class training courses – seminar, exercise, individual course. The extracurricular educational forms are internship, out of class seminar, practical training, project work and individual work – literature review, essay, paper, text commentary, project, term paper, practical development and analysis. The academic process in every course combines at least two in-class educational forms and two forms of individual work.
